| Tata Indicom - Dual SIM Phone |
|
Tata Indicom became the first CDMA operator in India to launch Dual SIM Phone - Samsung Duo. The advantage of this is, you can keep your existing GSM connection and BUY a new Tata Indicom Mobile [CDMA] and continue to use both from the convenience of a single handset. Switching between Tata Indicom and your GSM operator is available at a click of a button.
Tata Indicom beat Reliance Communications by launching this special phone. It is still a distant dream to see Mobile number portability in India and Tata's dual phone is a good idea to gain more customers. Reliance ADAG announces lot of features and products but none are available to the consumer yet. You can BUY Tata Indicom cell phone online @ ichoose. |

| Urban Indians hate Telemarketers |
|
5 Million Mobile subscribers in India have registered with the National Do Not Call Registry within the first 5 days. Also 14,000 of the estimated 25,000 telemarketing companies have registered.
TRAI Chairman Nripendra Misra said,
The fact that over 50 lakh subscribers have registered within five days is proof that there is a widespread feeling, especially among urban users, that telemarketers were encroaching on the private space of cellphone users. I have personally checked the websites of all operators. Now, they all seem ready. Consumers can also register their numbers directly on www.ndncregistry.com. Even the option of registering via SMS seems to be in place, we did a few tests today. In a separate development, Vodafone-Hutch-Essar is the first Telecom Service Provider in India to introduce Call Filtering / Blocking Facility to keep unwanted calls away. This comes with a charge but is definitely worth it. |

| Google Phone - Prospective Design ? |
|
Google is secretly developing a Phone to capture the mobile / hand held market before the Redmond giant does. Google's bid for Wireless Spectrum + Development of its own Hardware platform all make sense now, which also leads to further speculation that we are moving to converge on some really cool Google's hand held platform. Here is one of the coolest picture that is leaked out.
We are not sure if this is the phone but courtesy T3. |
